Easy Broccoli Stalk Pea Pesto

INGREDIENTS:

35 grams (bunch) basil

3 tablespoons olive oil

55g frozen peas

juice of 1/2 a lime

50g roasted walnuts

1/2 tablespoon onion and garlic powder

2 tablespoon water

METHOD:

  • Salt the walnuts and roast them in the oven at 180 degrees until golden and fragrant (around 7 minutes)

  • Steam the frozen peas 

  • Wash the basil

  • Blend all ingredients. I actually use my coffee grinder when making small portions of pesto like this one, so it is quicker to wash.
